Ample Missiion’s Gender Activism Proved Unstoppable


At a recently concluded fashion week in Mumbai, Ample Missiion, a social organization helmed by Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka and son Sidhaant Murarka, created history when models from the transgender community trailed down the ramp, a first-ever in the history of a leading fashion week! The showstoppers were none other than LGBTQ activist Laxmi Tripathi and Trans supermodel Navya Singh, ace fashion designer Archana Kochhar and philanthropist Dr. Aneel Kashi Murarka himself. Keeping their promise with the community for gender equality and inclusiveness, Ample Missiion proved their organization’s mettle curating this historic initiative. More power to the cause of gender equality!

US State Senator, politician, lawyer and Vice-Presidential running mate Kamala Devi Harris has scripted history by being the first Indian-American or African-American woman to be appointed as the Vice-Presidential running mate.  It is a known fact that Kamala Harris has a huge support base in the Indian-American community. It is not often that 28-year-olds burst into tears as they cut their birthday cake. But if you are Sulakshana, celebrating her first birthday ever in 28 years, cheered by family of 80 people, and friends, you sure will shed tears of happiness. So the words 80 family members caught your attention. The members we refer to are orphan kids who have come together to celebrate the birthday of one of their own. Cheering the radiant  birthday girl were celebs of the likes of Anand Mahendroo, Shekhar Suman, Papon, Ismail Darbar, Shrikant Bhartiya, and the beautiful couple Sareeka Gagan and Gagan Mahotra, who made this initiative possible.
